AIiH 2026 is pleased to announce this call for State-of-The-ARt Surveys (STARS). We welcome comprehensive and accessible survey papers that provide guided tours through the literature and insightful explanations on topics that are closely aligned with the scope of AI in Healthcare. STARS are also effective ways for researchers to communicate perspectives and identify trends in a rapidly developing field. STARS are intended be accessible to a broad audience with clear exposition and pointers to the literature. Contributions that bridge fundamental science and healthcare applications are also welcome.

This year, STARS will be archived, with DOIs, on zenodo.org. The following template should be used. STARS should be no more than 24 pages including references and should not be less than 12 pages. Author and institution information should be included in the STARS submission (i.e. single-blind review).

Authors are expected to follow standard ethical guidelines. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden and AIiH may use iThenticate for plagiarism checks. Authors take full responsibility for the contents of their papers, including content generated by LLMs.
